‘Digital Health Care’ Innovation Camp successfully concluded

The successful conclusion of the ‘Digital Health Care’ innovation camp marks the end of a comprehensive training programme that has supported 65 participants from the care, health, technology and social economy sectors over the course of 18 months. The high level of participation and strong commitment demonstrate the considerable interest in digital transformation within the health and care sectors.

The evaluation confirms the programme’s impact:
The participants were able to significantly enhance their digital skills – particularly in the areas of digital content creation, IT security, problem-solving and innovation. Many developed a clearer understanding of their roles as change multipliers, change facilitators and active shapers within their organisations. Satisfaction with the teaching methods, practical relevance and organisation was also exceptionally high.

A comprehensive and practical training programme

The Innovation Camp comprised a diverse range of modules, which were delivered both online and on-site. Overall, it covered a broad spectrum of topics, examining digital transformation from technical, organisational, ethical and practical perspectives. The content included, amongst other things:

  • Digitalisation and Change Management in the Care Sector

  • Data usage, data protection & IT security

  • Assistive systems, AAL technologies & Active Assisted Living

  • Law and Ethics in Healthcare

  • Artificial Intelligence in nursing and care

  • Information systems and technical infrastructure in the healthcare sector

  • User engagement, UX design & Design Thinking

  • Data-Driven Health Technologies & AI-Based Analytics

  • Best practices from international digital care initiatives

  • Compliance and Digital Process Design

Lasting impact and outlook

Feedback from participants highlights lasting benefits: greater confidence in using digital tools, improved problem-solving skills, a deeper understanding of teamwork and innovation, and fresh impetus for digital organisational development. At the same time, the programme identifies key future themes – including AI literacy, data literacy, digital leadership, process automation and secure technologies.
